C-27 Additive Change Order 3 for Lakeside Junior High School Buildings 1, 2 & 3 Air Conditioner Replacement
Issue/Rationale
Change Orders are initiated by the Contractor, Architect/Engineer or Owner, and may increase or decrease the scope of the project as defined by the plans and specifications. Change Orders are reviewed by the Architect/Engineer and staff prior to submission to the School Board. This change order is for installation of 24” curbs in lieu of 14” curbs due to the existing roof thickness being greater than anticipated.
Contractor: Weather Engineers, Inc.; Engineer: KPI Engineering, Inc.
Recommended Action
Approve the change order.
Financial Impact
If approved, this Change Order will increase the contract amount by $9,243.00. The substantial completion date is August 5, 2009. Architect fees will increase by $554.58 as a result of this Change Order.
